1. Equilibrium Wesley Gibson is just another regular guy working a desk job with an over controlling boss that will lead his life nowhere. Going home to a cheating girlfriend. | 1. EQUILIBRIUM Evan Treborn has been put through many disturbances growing up, yet blacks out frequently at points where it is either too stressful or too much for him to handle. |
2. Disturbance One night at the local pharmacy Wesley is approached by a woman, Fox. Fox informs Wesley that his father was a recently murdered assassin and his father’s murderer is standing right behind him. | 2. Disturbance Due to reading journals he created as a kid, Evan is then able to go back in to time and change the outcomes of the blackouts. |

4. Plan Wesley sets out to assassin cook, his father’s murder. | 4. PLAN |
5. Obstacle Wesley isn’t a assassin and must train and have the ability to kill cook. | 5. OBSTACLE The way Evan is able to go back in time to his blackouts is to re read over his journals. This causes some problems as he is not always able to get in contact with his journals. |
6. Complications When assassining cook, Wesley is told that cook is his real father. | 6. Complications Complications arise when Evan changes different aspects of his blackouts. People die, he changes his own life and other peoples. |
7. Timeout Fox is given a mission to assassin Wesley. | 7. Timeout Kayleigh Miller is Evans childhood sweet heart. During the movie, Evan is always trying to change his flashbacks to benefit her |
8. Crisis Wesley kills almost every member of the fraternity, then Fox takes over and sends a curved bullet to kill the rest aswell as herself, excluding Slone, the head of the fraternity and Wesley. | 8. Crisis Due to the changes Evan has made to his flashbacks, Evan has found himself trapped in a mental hospital. As Evan needs to be in contact with his journals to either escape or change his blackouts, due to being in the mental hospital, Evan is at first unable to get in contact with his journal. |
9. Climax Wesley has finally realized the truth and got rid of the force behind his fathers death. Although Slone is still alive. | 9. Climax The climax of the film is when Evan decides to kill himself |
10. Resolution Wesley is seen aimless once again, sitting at his computer desk. Although this time, it is a set up, resulting in Slones death. | 10. Resolution As a result of him killing himself, he realises people in his life are better off without him. |
